Pekan, 11th December, 2010 – His Royal Highness (HRH), The Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah today officially officiated the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of RM620 million common user supply base within the Tanjong Agas Oil & Gas and Logisitics Industrial Park.
HRH The Sultan of Pahang was accompanied by the YAB Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak. Also present were YTM The Crown Prince of Pahang, YAM Tengku Muda of Pahang Chairman of Tanjong Agas Supply Base & Marine Services Sdn. Bhd. (TASBMS), YAB Chief Minister of Pahang, Dato Sri Diraja Haji Adnan bin Haji Yaakob, Mr. Iqbal Mohammed Abdullah Abedin Oilfields Supply Centre Ltd (OSC) Director and General Manager and Chief Executive officer of ECER Development Council, Dato’ Jebasingam Issace John.
The construction of the common user supply base will be a self-contained multi-functional series of facilities comprising oilfield services, manufacturing and comprehensive training amenities and will be the best in Asia Pacific Region. With its total area of 250 acre, the integrated supply base will be one of the key components of Tanjong Agas Oil & Gas Logistics Industrial Park and expected to be fully operational by 2013.
